Definition:
The earliest form of government in ancient Greece was monarchy, in which one person- such as a king or emperor-had the power to make all of the political decisions.
Those of you sitting on the floor have no power.

In a democracy, people vote to make political decisions.

Democracy was one of the greatest gifts to the modern world from Ancient Greece
