3. The flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northem Ireland is officially called the Union Flag, but it is commonly known as the Union Jack.
The flag has existed since 1801

4. England
The flag is made up of the cross of petron saints of England – (St George´s red cross on a white field)

5. Ireland
This flag is made up of St Patrick´s red diagonals on a white field

6. Scotland
The Scotish flag is made up of St Andrew´s white diagonals on a blue field

7. Wales
The Welsh flag, called the Welsh dragon, shows a red dragon on a green and white field.
Wales is not represented on the Union flag, because when the flag first appeard it was already united with England
