The purpose of the painting is to honor the ones who fight for their country and risk their lives to protect us from harm. This painting creates an idea that soldiers will not be forgotten.

The main audience consists of those who have family in the military, ones who were in the military, and those who are enrolled in serving their country today. Also, anyone is strongly affiliated with the military.

8. Focal point
I thought the monument was the focal point. The monument can be depicted as a reminder that the ones who lost their lives in the war will not be forgotten and died for the freedom of their country.

9. Ethos, Logos, Pathos?

10. Appeals Ethos- the artist’s signature on the side of the painting.
Pathos- the human figures held together show an emotional feeling as the humans mourn the lose of their loved ones.
Logos- a monument made for those who fought in the war and lose their lives.
