8 How? The Procedures 1. Patron identifies title of interest and requests it through RACER. 2. Interlibrary Loans receives request and faxes titles that match purchasing criteria to Acquisitions. 3. Acquisitions librarian considers selection, then pre-searches and orders title(s). 4. Acquisitions imports record and creates purchase order.

How? The Procedures Shipping Department receives shipment and matches paperwork. 6. Cataloguing RUSH processes title(s). 7. Interlibrary Loans maintains statistics and contacts patron. 8. Circulation matches paperwork and checks- out item to patron.

More Comments: I am so glad to hear the good news. It is a great project for students. I believe it is very helpful to every student. I'm glad the library is doing this. I've long thought that there should be a policy that if a book is requested more than once that the university should purchase it. Perhaps there is already a policy such as this? Anyway, thanks to you and the other librarians who work hard to get information to us.
