Roll a slab, press and add it to the interior of the plate
Trim the edge and form the lip of the plate
You can press another plate on top to maintain shape

3. Focus on the edges. You can scallop or curve them.

4. Applique A smaller decoration added to a larger surface
You can add a geometric or organic shape
Your shape should be made of a small slab
Slip and score to the rim of the plate

7. Engobe Colored slip or underglaze made up of porcelain, water and a colorant
Ours are located in peanut butter jars to the cabinet to the left of the sink.

8. You can paint the negative space around the stencil
Or you can paint the positive space
Dampen the paper with a sponge and lay it on your leather hard plate
