In-depth review of draft-ietf-netmod-syslog-model-06 by Martin Bjorklund, and Tom Petch
Result is the draft-ietf-netmod-syslog-model-07 update:
Greater model clarity through:
improved descriptions and references to RFCs when appropriate.
addition of a when clause to clarify the severity-operator.
Addition of ‘pattern ‘file:.*’ to URI in the file action.
Addition of an example on how to add vendor specific facilities.
Refactor terminal and session containers for greater clarity and simplification
Eliminate references to VRF
Several minor corrections to the text – remove TBD, group level suppression filter, etc
Addition of TLS support for the remote action.
Update Netmod working group chair information.
Translation of the draft text to xml2rfc XML format for RFC generation using the xml2rfc tool.
