4. Pharmacy services in the ED:
Pharmacy responds to ALL Level 1 traumas, intubations, codes or other critical patients when called (24/7).
1 full time dedicated pharmacist (40 hours/week).
Medication Reconciliation
Discharge Prescriptions
Retail pharmacy calls
Antibiotic and other medication recommendations
Readily available if needed for codes/traumas or other critical patients
Take 8-9 APPE students on month-long rotations per year.
Students help with Medication Reconciliations
1 Hour Live CE for pharmacy staff
