3 Panther Expectations In our classroom we follow Panther Proud Expectations: Be Responsible Be Respectful Be Safe Always be a Learner

4 Positive Rewards As the children make good choices, they will receive a daily re-enforcer (sticker for sticker chart, sticker for self, or other treat)! 5 stickers in a row earns them a trip to the Treasure Box As a class, we will also work on earning various rewards including celebrations, PJ days and lots of other fun stuff!

5 Going Green In Kindergarten at PFE, we use a color coded clip system.
Each child will begin their day on Green. If the student has trouble following our classroom rules, a verbal warning will be given. If the undesired behavior continues, the student will move their clip to Yellow. If the behavior persists, the student will move their clip to Red and the parent will be contacted to discuss the behaviors.

6 Daily Folders Your child will bring home a folder daily which will contain a behavior chart, homework assignments and school related news. Please be sure to sign and return the folder each day.

9 Birthday Celebrations
Ice cream treats can be purchased through the cafeteria and served during lunch time. Due to pest problems in the classrooms and playground, we will not allow cupcakes or cookies to be delivered to the school. Ice Cream can be ordered through the cafeteria manager at  Birthday party invitations may NOT be distributed at school. Thank you for following this district policy.

10 Snacks Your child may bring a healthy snack (fruit, crackers, cheese, and vegetables) to school each day. Our snack time will be around 9:00 each day. Your child may bring a water bottle to school, however please be sure that it has a flip top lid…in order to avoid spills!

11 Report Cards Report cards will be sent home every nine weeks.
Developmental stages are noted for reading, writing, mathematics and social skills. Reading level must be 3/4 or better by the first week in May for students to be promoted to 1st grade. Read Daily!!!

12 Volunteers There are many different ways that you can help in our classroom. Please see the signup sheet. Any time you can share with our class would be greatly appreciated!

13 The Giving Tree Please see the Giving Tree outside of the classroom or on my website. All donations are greatly appreciated! Thank you so very much.

14 Boo Hoo Kindergarten Hullabaloo
Boo Hoo Hullabaloo will be serving coffee, juice, donuts and TISSUES in the cafeteria after you drop your kindergartener.
