Radiation -Radiation is heat that is transferred in the form of rays or waves Example: Microwaves, Sun rays

Conduction -Conduction is the transfer of heat that occurs when molecules bump into one another -Heat travels through direct contact -Example: your feet get hot on the beach while walking on the sand

Convection -Convection is the transfer of heat by the flow of a gas or liquid. - Circulates heat through convection currents

Convection -When air is warmed, molecules in the air start to move apart -Air pressure decreases because fewer molecules are in the same place
