purposes, they’re basically enormous headstones =

Giza (481 feet tall) – is a “spacious” two rooms
Why so cramped? In order to support the
enormous weight of the stones, the pyramids had

ground hundreds of miles away from the
building site
Khufu’s pyramid (the Great Pyramid) consists of
2.5 million blocks – each averaging over 2.5
tons (Some weigh as much as 150 tons!!!)
Just for a frame of reference:
150 tons = 300,000 pounds!
Sooooo… that’s a whole lot of that.
