3. Hindu Festivals There are many festivals in Hinduism.
Some Hindus think that some festivals are more important than others – this might be because of where they live or which deity they have chosen to worship.
Hindu festivals are joyful occasions but they have a serious side too.
They are based on stories in the Hindu scriptures and have important moral meanings.
Most festivals take place annually and involve performing puja.

16. Everyone was happy and Rama and Sita became king and queen and ruled over the kingdom.

17. Now every year Hindus remember this story at Divali by lighting diva lights inside their homes and setting off fireworks outside.
