1. General SLM Videos General SLM videos or thematic SLM videos cover a certain topic in the field of SLM and can be used e.g. in presentations (e.g. for SLM awareness raising), trainings or for broadcasting on TV. The total length of the SLM video is seven to ten minutes. However, the length of the video may vary if there are certain restrictions in place, e.g. if only five minutes of broadcasting time are available on TV. The general SLM videos contain: 1) a short introduction to the topic and the area(s), 2) a main part including explanations and, if possible, demonstrations by land users, and 3) a short conclusion summarizing the main issues.

2. Instructional Videos Instructional videos serve as audiovisual guide for the implementation of SLM Technologies and Approaches and aim at motivating land users to replicate a practice on their land. Instructional videos are part of a larger training package including a written documentation containing further details and data. The total length of the instructional video is ten minutes (+/- 3 minutes depending on the complexity of the practice captured) containing: 1) a short introduction of the land user, contextualization and problem statement, 2) a main part with demonstrations and explanations, and 3) a short conclusion and closure.

3. Short video clips on SLM
Short video clips on SLM Technologies and Approaches comprise of short statements by land users regarding particular aspects of a SLM Technology or Approach. They are directly linked to the WOCAT documentation of SLM Technologies and Approaches. A link to the documentation can be made by fading it in at the beginning or end of the short video clip. The length of the video clips is 4-6 minutes.
