3. Procedural Resolutions
Speakers need to select either one of the following cards: a) GREEN – to show SUPPORT of a motion/amendment
B) RED – to show if AGAINST a motion/amendment
C) YELLOW – to put forward a procedural resolution.
YELLOW CARDS GO IMMEDIATELY TO THE FRONT OF THE SPEAKER LINE. The General Secretary will alternate between GREEN or RED until all have spoken OR all remaining have either RED or GREEN cards OR the General Secretary rules that a vote must be taken due to time.

Be it resolved that member nations of the United Nations may use any measures necessary to enforce a full disarmament in North Korea of all its nuclear weapons, weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles.

Be it resolved that every country in the United Nations reduces their operational nuclear weaponry programs (including all additional funding). These programs will be reduced to 500 nuclear warheads.

Be it resolved that Russian Federation goes to meet with North Korea in order to temporarily disarm their nuclear weapons and save Otto Warmbier in exchange for protection enforced by the United Nations. Be it resolved that Donald Trump steps down from the 2016 United States presidential election so Otto Warmbier can return home safely.

12. Day 1 Amendments
Be it resolved that the Russian Federation acts as a UN mediator in negotiating the release of American student Otto Warmbier. Additionally, they will enforce the disarmament of North Korea’s nuclear program from the position of a NK ally (with the expected return of nuclear weapons once the current tension subsides).

14. Defining Indigenous People…
We are descended from the pre-colonial/pre-invasion inhabitants of our region.
We maintain a close tie to our land in both our cultural and economic practices.
We suffer from economic and political marginalization as a minority group.
A group is considered Indigenous if it defines itself that way.

15. INDIGENOUS PEOPLES HOLD 20% OF THE EARTH’S LAND MASS.
THAT LAND HARBORS 80% OF THE WORLD’S REMAINING BIODIVERSITY.

19. Day 1/3 Amendments
Be it resolved that the indigenous people be allowed a maximum of 60 seats to represent their people in the United Nations. Countries will enforce laws that make indigenous people equal to their non-native compatriots. Nations with indigenous people will be required to provide financial support and create anti-discriminatory laws. However, self governance will not be permitted until the indigenous people are able to prove that they can be self sufficient.
