1. What does reduce mean? A. using less of something to decrease waste and pollution. B. Example: carpooling to work

2. What does reuse mean? Using what you have over and over again rather than buying something new. A. Example: using a ceramic mug over and over rather than using new Styrofoam cups daily for coffee

3. What does recycle mean? Using recycled products and recycling products to decrease waste and pollution A. Example: recycling plastic bottles to make fleece jackets
