Pelican Rapids Recycling Redemption Center Friday 10:30-6:00 Saturday 9:30-4:00 24 11th Ave SE Single-Sort Curbside Recycling Fergus Falls and Perham Recyclable materials including plastics #1-#7 are to be placed in the 95 gallon bin provided by the city. Pick up is on garbage day every other week. NO BAGS. LOOSE ONLY Event Bins Reserve recycling bins for parties, weddings, picnics, sporting events reunions. The portable bins collapse for easy transport. You provide the bags. Youth in Action A hands-on recycling program that earns community recognition and money for youth organizations. Recycling Bin Locations Accepted Materials in OTC Aluminum Cans Empty cans and clean aluminum foil/pie plates Corrugated Cardboard Remove any packaging materials, flatten boxes Brown paper bags may also be recycled along with cardboard Glass Bottles and jars Dishes, glasses and window glass (excluding the frame) Magazines & Catalogs, Newspaper, Phone Books, Office & Computer Paper, Paperboard – Now Accepted Remove phonebook covers and place both in the paper bin Shiny flyers/coupons Printer & notebook paper and white envelopes Soda, cereal, cracker boxes Shredded paper (please bag) **Please bag magazines and office paper separately Plastic Bottles and jugs with a number 1 or on them (All containers must have a neck or spout) Steel/Tin Cans Empty cans, rinse and leave lids attached when possible Where does this go? Styrofoam and packing materials-Contact a local packaging store such as Goin’ Postal for reuse.
