2 Today’s Objective Objective: We will understand value scale by creating a monochromatic piece. Product: We will produce a monochromatic image. Evaluation: We will be evaluated base on the accuracy of our monochromatic image.

4 “Homework” Head to Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, etc. and pick up color swatches that are all in shades and tints of the same color. Get many different shades of red, or blue, or yellow. If green is your favorite color, get different shades of green.

38 Let’s get started! Choose a picture to use (preferably of yourself)
Draw around the various values (face, shoulders, hair, etc.) Label them from 1-5 based on their values Cut out your swatches in the shapes of the values they represent and glue them on to the page!
