Numbers should be in the Bottom Outside corner of the page. Start with the number 1 and number each page in your notebook. When your finished numbering turn to the first 3 blank pages and wait for directions.

Safety Standards of Student Conduct
1. Be responsible- No Horseplay, throwing items, or pranks. 2. Follow all directions and procedures during the activity or investigation.

3. No eating, drinking, or gum chewing in the science lab. 4. The teacher must be in the lab during an investigation.

5. No unauthorized investigations. 6. Do not enter the preparation or chemical storage closet.

7. Do not remove any supplies or equipment from the classroom without permission. 8. All accidents, spills, and injuries must be reported immediately to the teacher.

9. Wash your hands with soap and water before and after handling organisms. If you are ever bit or scratched notify the teacher immediately. 10. When required to use gloves, keep them on during the entire lab.

11. Keep walkways clear all books and personal items are to remain under your desk during labs. 12. Dress appropriately for laboratory or field work. Pull long hair back and secure with a hair tie. Do not wear loose or baggy clothing or dangling jewelry on laboratory days. Sandals or open-toed shoes are not to be worn during any lab or field activities.

13. Never sit on laboratory tables/desk. 14. Work areas should be kept clean and neat at all times. Work surfaces are to be cleaned at the end of each laboratory or activity.

15. Follow your teacher’s directions for disposal of any waste products. 16. If any thing is chipped or breaks notify the teacher immediately. Do Not Touch It! 17. When goggles are necessary during an activity or investigation, you must keep them on at all times.
