I have taken groups to Washington DC and New York, in addition, i went to Puerto Rico last year with the group

Student expectations Expected to speak Spanish during the duration of the trip Students are expected to be on their best behavior

Why Puerto Rico Immerse students in language and culture
Puerto Rico is a rich melting pot of cultures, although the strongest influences come from the Taino Indians, Spain and Africa. Indeed, over the centuries these cultures have left countless customs and traditions that can be traced back to our ancestors.

Funding and fundraising
Parent lead Last year we had parents get together and sponsor various fundraisers

Possible dates Spring break April (travel window)

No passport necessary Because it is a US territory

Money Students will only need money if some meals are not included and for souvenirs If you would like to bring anything back Students last year had all meals included
