God did not choose someone like:
Sarah, who laughed
Lot’s wife, who looked at what she was giving up
Potiphar’s wife, who lacked true morality
Zipporah, who lacked true spirituality
Herodias, who didn’t care what God wanted
Martha, who was more concerned with practical things
Sapphira, who only cared what was in it for her
Drusilla, who didn’t have time for God

5. The Virgin Birth: Magnificently Fulfilled Because of Mary
God chose someone who found favor in His sight
Mary believed what God said! – Luke 1:45
Even if it was hard to believe
Mary submitted to what God said! – Luke 1:38
Behold, the servant of the Lord
