2. Let’s create a few Charts and Graphs
Options include:
Report Grid
Pie Chart
Donut Chart
Bar Chart (Vertical)
Bar Chart (Horizontal)
Scattered Line Chart
Stacked Graph
Important Initial Step:
Give some thought to what you are actually trying to display as a GRAPH.
If there is no distinct subset of data that you want to graph, consider saving as a GRID.
Not all reports will make great graphs but trial and error will show you the options and how to make them look great before saving!
Save 2 graphs and 1 grid – Student and Finance. Show all samples while building.

3. Adding Graphs to the Dashboard: Just Drag & Drop!

4. You may see a security warning:
This Pinned Report/Graph has not been saved to the Dean’s Group and as a result, they will not see it on this Dashboard

5. Managing the Dashboard Layout Options:
Size and position of each graph
Expand or Shrink Horizontally
Reposition or Remove a Graph
Refresh the Graph
When you’re ready to review, click to exit the Edit Mode

Click to enter Edit Mode
Click the Pencil Icon to Edit Dashboard Details

8. Creating Dashboard Filters

9. Map your Filters to each Graph/Grid
Where there is no match, select
-- Do Not Apply Filter --

10. Ready for your end users!
The Filter will now display so the users can refine the data in each graph for themselves
Multiple Dashboard Filters can be applied to each Dashboard

12. Creating Dashboard Hyperlinks
To create a quick and easy Hyperlink directly to the Dashboard, locate the Hyperlink icon:
Copy the link provided for use outside of FAST
