3. 3 Year Projects Approved!
HHSC is in the process of reconciling and redistributing funds for final project amounts available. Health Department 3 Year Project will be dependent on the final amount allocated to Region 15

4. Category 3 Review
We will be receiving feedback forms from HHSC that will include technical assistance.
HHSC is still in the process of finalizing the compendium detail documents of each category 3 measure.

Improvement Over Self Measures (IOS)
QISMC
Alternate Improvement Activities for P4R Measures

5. DY4 and DY5 Valuations Good News!
CMS does not have any concerns with the project values for DY4 and DY5.
All project values are subject to the mid-point assessment and compliance audits

6. IGT Monitoring Fees
In July, in addition to IGT requests for project metrics, we will be required to submit additional IGT for HHSC Monitoring Activities:
These fees will fund the DSRIP Compliance Monitoring Contract and DSRIP Financial Monitoring Contract

Texas Tech = $21,461.39
Emergence = $19,051.20
Health Department = $7,476.12

7. PFM Protocol Changes HHSC’s CMS Project Officer is leaving
Draft PFM Protocol is posted on the HHSC Waiver Website
Includes category 3 information
DSRIP payments may be made up to 2 years after the end of the DY
Project Withdrawals
Several additional requirement added to include:

Managed Care Alignment
Posting recent RHP Plans

8. Timelines
June, 2014 – expect to hear back from HHSC regarding approved metrics and those needing more information
July 9, 2014 (Est.) – IGT due date for approved April achievement.
July 31, – Estimated payment date for April achievement
July 2014 – Plan Modifications for DY4-5. This is our only opportunity to submit changes to our projects for approval.
Other Plan Modifications to our projects will be at the request of HHSC Auditors
September 9-10, 2014 (tentative) – Dates for annual statewide learning collaborative in Austin.
