Tuesday – Yoga Wednesday – PE, Ukulele, Homework Return Thursday - Friday – PE, Spelling Test, New Homework, New Spellings Home/School Reading books can be changed daily, please keep yellow book in book bags.

Spelling & Grammar New Spellings – Spellings link to the sounds the children learn in phonics. Spelling Test – Friday (5spellings) Spelling Homework – Choose 2/3 spellings to put into sentences. Expectation to use correct punctuation and grammar in all writing (It must make sense!)

Reading Please, please, please… Read, read, read!
We want to foster a love of reading – reading for pleasure is the aim of the game Read a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, magazines, newspapers, e-books! Independence - but still supported – PLEASE sign reading record on a regular basis Aiming for a book a week Ask questions, discuss opinions etc. Alien words!!!

Maths Challenges Count to/from 100 in ones (slightly over 100)
Count in multiples of 2, 5, 10 Calculate (+ and -) numbers to 20 (double, half) Everyday maths (money, measuring, etc.) Mathletics homework – Autumn Term 2

Every child is different – we all learn at different speeds and in different ways. Please get involved – I love to see parents/carers and value all of your support greatly.
