Delhi (Primary + Upper Primary) ( to )
3
Best Practices Four samples of cooked meal are collected by M/s FICCI Research and Analysis Centre from the schools and the kitchens on monthly basis for testing the food for its hygiene and nutritive values. One sample of raw food grain is also collected at the time of lifting of food grain for testing. There is 100% coverage of children under RBSK.

ISSUES Less coverage of working days i.e. 158 in primary against approval of 166 and 160 against the approval of 171 in upper primary . Of the enrolled children, only 61% in Primary and 57% in Upper Primary have been covered under MDM. Lack of Coordination amongst different departments/ organizations – DOE, MCDs, NDMC and DCB –in the information flow leading to avoidable delay. No DLC Meeting was held in any district under chairpersonship of the senior most MP of Lok Sabha although there are 7 MPs in Delhi. Poor data entry into the MIS web portal (only 44% Annual and 37% monthly). Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India
