Is it a wave? 1700s Christian Huygens proved that light acted like a wave b/c light spreads out Or is it a particle? In 1905, Albert Einstein proved that light acted like little particles we call ‘photons’

3 There are 2 types of waves
Longitudinal (Sound) and Transverse (Light, EM)

4 The wave When a wave travels, energy moves along a wave but there is no movement of particles along the wave. A transverse wave is a wave in which particles of the medium move in a direction perpendicular to the direction that the wave moves.
