1 Running an IAYRA HS Tournament
Requirements: This sheet identifies all points of contact, locations, and contact details for all required elements of an IAYRA approved HS rugby tournament. Any host of a HS tournament must complete and return this sheet prior to the first kickoff if the tournament results are intended to be used for qualification towards an IAYRA HS State Championship. All information identified below is required. Any exceptions must be approved 24 hours prior to kickoff. Tournament Checklist: Do you have the team folders ready (run sheets and schedule)? Requirements: This sheet identifies all required media elements of an IAYRA approved HS rugby tournament. Any host of a HS tournament must complete and return this sheet prior to the first kickoff if the tournament results are intended to be used for qualification towards an IAYRA HS State Championship. Any exceptions must be approved 24 hours prior to kickoff.. *Photo Upload: Photos are required to be uploaded to the IAYRA Zenfolio account, which is automatically shared on IAYRA.org across the league. Please refer to the Tournament Photo Upload Guide for instructions on how to upload the photos. *Video Streaming: Tournaments are to be streamed to the IAYRA YouTube account. These are automatically shared on IAYRA.org across the league. Please refer to the Tournament Video Streaming Guide for instructions on how to stream the tournaments. Please test this early to ensure that the equipment is working properly.

Guidance: This sheet is intended to help each tournament organizer budget for an IAYRA HS tournament. The recommended values are based on standard market rates. There is no requirement that a volunteer be paid for each specific task. Requirement: The tournament organizer must pay $1/spectator to the IAYRA to pay for outreach activities. This money must be paid to IAYRA within 5 days following the tournament. Guidance: This sheet helps the tournament organizer ensure a smooth running tournament. It is recommended that each kickoff is planned to be at least 20 minutes apart.
