6.11 ALIAS MAPPING User can define own alias mapping for TEMISS control file options. Example, user can define #BS1 as their own definition for #BS (Barcode Scanning Options). Made sure user have check “Activate” button to activate this alias command. The Alias key can be any alphanumeric character with ‘#’ key in front. 6.12.1 USER PLC SETTINGS – WORD SETUP
Use to define variable settings from Handler to PLC via this interface by word setup. It is a customize features for additional data entry. User can define data entry for specific feature by change description label and number values which predefined by Intotest. Example of preset data at table below. Enter (0) to disable the feature. Use to view variable settings from Handler to PLC via this interface. It is a customize features for additional data monitoring/ viewing and troubleshooting purpose only for DB52. DB52 is data captured from Temiss. No settings are allowed at here. 6.12.5 USER PLC SETTINGS – CONFIGURATOR
Before use, please retrieve configurator password from software vendor Configurator Password Level (User login level to allow for edit/ view the configurator page, default is 9) Change description labels (activate to allow user to change the description of the labels) Activate PLC User Settings (activate to allow data exchange for DB52 for handler & PLC side, default: Activate) Activate read PLC DB53 (activate to allow data exchange for DB53 for handler & PLC side, default: Activate) Configurator password (authorized personnel allow to make the changes in configurator page) Change button (use to apply the changes that make in this form)

MACHINE SETUP –TAPE NO.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 This application is similar with Tape No.2, Tape No.3, Tape No.4, Tape No.5 and Tape No.6. Able to view the tape station information such as tape size, leader quantity, trailer quantity and tape bin assignment All the information provided is for viewing purpose only, the “Save & Send” button need to be clicked in order to resend all the information to PLC.

6.14.3 MACHINE SETUP –TUBE/ BIN
User can view the tester tube/ bin assignments in here. User can set the tube limit, maximum tube limit is 200. When the tube quantity has reached this value, the alarm would be activated and tube full error message would pop-up. All changes must click on “Save & Send” to PLC in order for the changes to take effect

6.14.4 MACHINE SETUP – BIN SORTER
User can set the bin sorter limit in here, maximum for bin sorter limit is 32000 When bin sorter quantity has reached this value, the alarm would be activated and bin full error message would pop-up. All changes must click on “Save & Send” to PLC in order for the changes to take effect

6.14.5 MACHINE SETUP – ACTIVATE TAPE STATIONS
User can activate/deactivate each tape station in here. User can set default leader and trailer quantity for the tape stations. User can check the “Consecutive EmptyPkt” if want to have consecutive empty pocket feature. All changes must click on “Save & Send” to PLC in order for the changes to take effect.

6.14.6 MACHINE SETUP – RETEST FEATURE
User can activate/deactivate the retest feature in here. It is use to retest a certain number of units in the bin. System will show the percentage of unit tested when feature in running. Alarm will buzzer when reach “Retest Percentage Alarm” Able to re-test up to 60k units. All changes must click on “Save & Send” to PLC in order for the changes to take effect.

6.14.7 MACHINE SETUP – QA SAMPLING
Use to obtain a QA sample by dedicated quantity. This application allows the user(s) to set the QA sampling in here. It is not applicable for OSRAM.

6.14.8 MACHINE SETUP – QA TAPE SAMPLE
User can activate the QA sampling process for each of tape station individually. Control file command “#BS” must be included in order to fully activate this function. This application allows user(s) to set a certain amount of units to be sent to the tape station to be used as a sample in System Setup > Software Control > Sample Quantity. A small dialog box as below will prompt out for user to Abort Reel (OK) or Continue Taping (Cancel) when QA qty reach.

MACHINE SETUP – FEEDER Option1 (Process of clear unit on linear track and all units will throw to clear bin. All modules will be disable and only insertion work to pick up unit on linear track until no unit present on it. If un-check, a normal end lot process is proceed. Option2 (Process of clear unit on turret and every module except linear track. All modules will enable to work with until unit present in turret and other modules are clear. If un-check, a normal end lot process is proceed)

6.15.1 MANUAL MODE - REFERENCE
User able to perform stepper & servo motor reference in here. User also able to clear the PLC error flag by clicking on “Clear Error Flag in PLC”. PC Interlock Machine (Maintenance purpose only, handler will open / close the safety cover when ‘INTON” is click and close the safety cover when “INTOFF” is click (available for certain machines only)) Besides, user can check for PC-PLC status in here Furthermore, user also can check the “Slow Motion Index” for machine to run in slow index mode.

6.15.2 MANUAL MODE – TEST STATIONS
User able to manually trigger Open/Short module & Test Station module individually. User also able to do device calibration and GRR. Note that GRR is used for 3D inspection. Test time (in milliseconds) will shown where there is Test Station activity (SOT -> EOT) For “Open/Short” module and “Test Station” module, user can trigger the module to move a single index using the “Single Step” command. The module will perform a full cycle when the “Trigger SOT” is triggered. The result of the “Open/Short” module is also displayed here.

6.15.3 MANUAL MODE – INSERTION
User can manually trigger the insertion to move a single index or Single cycle in here. User can trigger for open/ close action for clamper type of insertion in here

6.15.4 MANUAL MODE – TURNTABLE
User can index the turntable one index at a time and this action will index both main turner (MT1, MT2, MT3) User can perform half index for turntable by clicking on “Half Index” button. (This only applicable for newer machine and machine with half index capability)

6.15.5 MANUAL MODE – TAPE STATIONS
User can switch on /off the stepper motor for the tape station by “Switch On” / “Switch Off” button. User can index tape station motor by clicking “Single Index” button User can abort tape reel by clicking “Abort Reel” button. In addition, the user(s) can move the tape station’s stepper motor one index at a time or perform an abort reel operation for a tape station. User can reset scanner for a particular tape station by clicking on “Reset Scanner” button. This is mainly to reset the QX-870 tape reel scanner when there is hang/ jam/ unconditional situation happen. User can trigger for tape station pusher up/ down action in here

6.15.6 MANUAL MODE – BIN SORTER
User can select desire bin andclick on “Move to Position” in order to move the sorter chute head to desire bin.

MANUAL MODE – COMMAND User able to send the commands to PLC. (Command must be in string of 4 bytes where first 2 bytes are alphanumerical (prefix value) and the next 2 bytes is in hex values (Integer Value) )

6.15.11 MANUAL MODE – TRANSFER STATION (S)
User can manually trigger the transfer station to move a single step at a time. User can trigger multiple action of transfer station pusher and transfer station clamper in

MANUAL MODE – OTHERS User able to activate or deactivate the power supply for all the stepper motors. (Stepper Motors ) User also able to control the vision system, laser system and linear drive for single step movement. User able to manually trigger the vision at any given moment. This is to check the communication between the vision and handler system. User able to do referencing, single step up or down for Linear Motor. Laser mark module is used to control laser marking perform on the unit. It is only applicable for machine with laser mark modules.

6.15.13 MANUAL MODE – LIFE SPAN COUNTER
It just a counter display for particular parts when machine is running. 1 counter will increase when every single usage of particular hardware. There are 2 counter fields per item (Current Counter & Accumulated Counter). Accumulated counter is total up each of the current counter. User can double click each of current counter field to reset counter to 0. Alert: [Manufacturer remark: SN-version: Counting is by PLC; Limit & error are by Temiss. Counter will only refresh when machine is in Stop mode]

6.15.14 MANUAL MODE – LIFE SPAN COUNTER LIMIT
User can pre-define counter limit for Life Span Counter and activate it as well. User must check “Activate Lifespan Counter Feature” and click “Change” button to activate this functions. When Life Span Counter “EQUAL or MORE” than Life Span Counter Limit, an alert box will prompt out for alerting the user. User can choose to replace particular parts or manually reset Life Span Counter Limit for temporary use if particular parts are still in good condition.

6.16.1 DISPLAY BIN SORTER QUANTITY – BIN SORTER QUANTITY
This page is similar with Binsorter 33-64, Binsorter and Binsorter Note that, if the Machine Type is TwinTX/ T20-Duplicate Drawer A to B, the bin sorter display would be Binsorter A1-32, Binsorter A33-64, Binsorter B1-32 and Binsorter B33-64. User able to view the binning quantity for bin In addition, user able to view the bin quantity for the Open/Short bin and also the Clear Machine quantity. User can manually clear each bin quantity by choosing the respective bin and click on the “Clear Binsorter Qty”. In order to view the updated bin quantity, user can click on the “Update Binsorter Qty” button.

6.16.2 DISPLAY YIELD QUANTITY
Note that this page is similar with Yield (33-64), Yield (65-96) and Yield (97-128). If the Machine Type is TwinTX then it will be display as Yield (A1-32), Yield (A33-64), Yield (B1-32), Yield (B33-64). For TwinTX machine type, there are additional Yield (AB1-32) and Yield (AB 33-64) page. Yield (AB1-32) means the total yield for sorter A1-32 and sorter B1-32. Yield (AB33-64) means the total yield for sorter A33-64 and sorter B33-64. User able to view the product yield quantity for each bin, and tape yield. The product yield reflects the data for the entire product tested in a particular lot. In order to clear the yield quantity, the user(s) must start a new lot.

6.17 ERROR MESSAGE HISTORY User can view all of the error occur in this machine. Maximum error lines captured is 200 and once reach counter 200, line of message will be delete by FIFO (first in first out method) User can choose to save Error by clicking “Save” button, and the text file will save in C:\Program Files\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\star

6.18 ERROR MESSAGE HISTORY User able to view or manually trigger PLC IO from Temiss. User(s) must enter an “I” for inputs, “Q” for outputs followed by the IO address for particular I/O monitoring. User must click on the “Update” button in order to view the respective data.
