The Performance Task Evidence of Understanding
You are the Head of Teaching and Learning and responsible for leading curriculum in your school (V). The Principal has asked you to present a workshop at a national Christian school curriculum conference (I) that demonstrates how to plan a unit from a biblical perspective (E). Most of your teachers are new to Christian schools so you are not sure if they know the four elements of God’s Big Story or if they can use it to illuminate aspects of God’s character and his purpose in the Australian Curriculum (D). Select the AC content and standards from a KLA of your choice. Plan an exemplar unit using the God’s Big Story 4 x 6 planning tool. Show how you use the lens process and complete Parts 1 and 2 of the unit. Provide an indicative plan only, for Part 3 (Eu, N). You may work with 1-2 others to design the unit. When completed present the module in a poster form for others to review and learn (Es). © Christian Schools Australia Limited
