#1: LOCAL IS LEKKER Benefit the local community – stimulate economy and encourage development.

#2: MODULAR DESIGN This makes it easier to re-build the stand, and, if necessary, to create different configurations to fit different spaces. If the stand can be taken apart and put back together easily, you improve your chances that this will be done without damaging the structure.

#4: LIGHTWEIGHT This makes transporting the stand for rebuilds easier, more cost-effective and more carbon-effective - as less petrol should be needed with smaller, lighter loads.

Make use of digital media, where exhibitors provide information on their website, or re-usable memory stick Reduce the amount of printed media on stands Ensure stand graphics or brochures are not event specific, so they can be reused going forward
