No Bell Work! Agenda Review
SSR Points: “All Summer in a Day” by Ray Bradbury. Read silently until the timer rings This is not the time for questions on grades, absent, late, or missing work!

Write down your answers in complete sentences on a sheet of lined paper.
Define: Frail, Apparatus, Tumultuously, Resilient, Savor Identify all plot elements of the story in complete sentences. List 3 rising events of the story in bullet points. Why are the children so jealous of Margot? How does the rain affect the plot, setting, and characters? Find SIX similes or metaphors in the story. Cite the device and identify the comparison that is being made. Six devices TOTAL What is the theme of the story? Why is the resolution of the story so unsatisfying?

Wrap it up! If you need “All Summer in a Day” you may pick one up after school. There will also be a copy of the story under “Documents” on my website. Quarter 3 Book Project due Friday!
