Animating enlargement
Experiment with other scale factors for the three ‘main event’ puzzles. Create a series of enlargements on the same grid (like the ‘animate’ feature in Autograph). Label with the correct scale factors.
Neighbourly challenge
Create a shape on a grid. Choose a centre and a scale factor. Carry out this enlargement.
Now list the coordinates of the object. And list the coordinates of the image. Give your neighbour these coordinates. They have to name the scale factor and centre that you have chosen (so don’t tell them first!)
