The colours of objects All objects are coloured with PIGMENTS
The colours we see are the colours of light that are REFLECTED by these pigments Ex. Blue jeans – ABSORB RED and GREEN light and REFLECT only BLUE light

The colours that are absorbed by an object are SUBSTRACTED from the light that is reflected back to your eye

Primary & secondary colours for light
The PRIMARY and SECONDARY colours of light for the SUBTRACTIVE theory are the OPPOSITE to the colours of ADDITIVE theory Primary Colours: CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW Secondary Colours: RED, GREEN, BLUE
