2. Organisms An organism is a living thing.
Plants and animals are organisms.
All organisms have cells.

3. Plant Cells Cells are the building blocks of life.
Plant cells have nucleus,chloroplast,Cell membrane,cell wall,and cytoplasm.

4. Parts of a Plant
The parts of a plant are:
roots
stem
leaves

5. Roots The roots are the part of the plant that help support the plant.
The roots take in the water,food,and minerals.
The roots keep the plant in the soil so the plant can't fly away by a very strong wind.

6. Stem
This is the stem. The stem is attached to the roots. It holds the plant upright to the sun so the plant can grow into a tree if it is a tree!

7. Leaves
These are the leaves. The leaves are the plant parts that take in the nutrients the plant needs food,water,and minerals.
The leaves have holes in them so they can breath.
Leaves breath carbon dioxide, people breathe oxygen plants breathe out.

8. Life cycle of a Plant
In the life cycle of a plant it starts as a seed.You need to put the seed in the ground,and water it,and give it sun light for the plant to grow.
Then it is an embryo.Then a seedling,an adult,then the tree!

9. Conifers
These are conifers.Conifers are seeds in cones.

10. Flowering Plants These are flowering plants.
Flowering plants are plants that grow seeds in flowers.
