Business men sell stocks or rights of ownership to raise this money Corporation is a business owned by stockholders Share profits, not debt

Widened the gap between industrialized and non-industrialized countries Russia, Japan, U.S. follow Britain’s lead Seize colonies for economic resources Imperialism takes over Policy of extending one country's rule of many lands Revolution in agriculture, production, transportation and communication change many lives Industrialization Revolutionized daily life and life expectancy
