Weekly Activity Must suit out each day Health Unit - One day a week your child will have a health lesson taught. They must have spiral notebook and a pencil for use in this class. This needs to be kept in their PE locker.

Activities Include: Flag Football Volleyball Basketball Track & Field
Kickball Soccer Softball Team Building Wellness – Weight training, Aerobics, Cardio Games & Relays State Mandated Fitness Gram Testing in the Spring

If your child is ill… Student must bring a note from a parent stating the number of days to be excused. (maximum of 3 days) If excused for more than 3 days, the student must present a doctor’s note stating the length of time to be excused from physical activity. If excused, your child will still be required to dress out.

Grading Policies Daily Grades - suiting out/participation- 100%
Everyone starts out with a 100% for the day. Point deductions for no dress, partial dress, not having chromebook on health day, and dressed out but not participating.

Fitness Gram Test This is a State mandated fitness test for all grades given in the Spring which includes testing in the following areas: Pacer test – Cardiovascular fitness Trunk lift – lower back strength Curl ups – abdominal strength Push ups – chest and back strength Shoulder stretch- flexibility BMI – % of fat in the body
