Walk in quietly, park your book bag in the designated area and grab some Hand sanitizer. Then, quickly go to your Assigned seat. Log into FLVS and check , grades and see what is due for the week. Start working on your assignments. Save your work Sign out of FLVS Log off your computer Return headphones Push in your chair Pack up your things (incl. flash drive) ** DO NOT PACK UP EARLY! ** 3-minute warning = Wrap It Up/Finish Up 2-minute warning = Log off and Pack up

Why am I taking an online course?
Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) mandates that all students seeking a HS Diploma from an accredited charter or public high school enroll in, and successfully complete, at least one online course. S (2)(c), F.S. What is a Virtual Lab? Days Morning Afternoons
The virtual lab is a quiet space at Viera HS that provides you with dedicated time during the school day to complete one or more online classes. Your schedule reflects the period you will spend each day in the lab. The lab is also available to all Viera HS students taking an online course through BVS and FLVS, outside of the regular school day. Days Morning Afternoons Monday 8:00 – 8:30 AM 3:30 – 4:00 PM Tuesday 8:00 – 8:30 AM 3:30 – 4:00 PM Wednesday 8:00 – 8:30 AM 2:30 – 4:00 PM Thursday by apt 3:30 – 4:00 PM Friday 8:00 – 8:30 AM 3:30 – 4:00PM

“Adequate Weekly Progress”
Failure to maintain Adequate Weekly Progress will trigger an Academic Withdrawal request from the course instructor. On average: 5 – 10% progression per week is expected 3 – 5 assignments per week is expected DBA scheduled in advance DBA completed and reflection submitted on time Exams, tests and quizzes completed on time Progress is monitored by: BVS/FLVS Instructor Facilitator Guidance Counselor Parents
