A BRIEF REPORT ON THE FORMATION OF A PASTORAL SEARCH COMMITTEE
Elder Neil VanDerJagt, CPA, Vice-President of Consistory

Read by Elder Neil VanDerJagt, CPA
THE HEBREW SCRIPTURE PSALM 8:1-9 Read by Elder Neil VanDerJagt, CPA O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants You have ordained praise because of Your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
20
You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! 1 CHRONICLES 29:10-13 David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly, saying, "Praise be to You, O LORD, God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.
21
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; You are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from You; You are the ruler of all things. In Your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give You thanks, and praise Your glorious name.
22
MY TRIBUTE To God be the glory; To God be the glory for the things He has done. With His blood He has saved me; With His power He has raised me; (REPEAT)

“THINE IS THE GLORY” From Psalm 8:
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set your GLORY above the heavens. From Psalm 19: The heavens declare the GLORY of God; The skies proclaim the work of His hands. From Psalm 72: Praise be to His GLORIOUS name forever; May the whole earth be filled with His GLORY. Amen and Amen.

From Psalm 96: Splendor and majesty are before Him; Strength and GLORY are in His sanctuary. From Revelation 4: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive GLORY and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.

“LET IT BE SO” or “SO LET IT BE”
“FOREVER” “A TIMELESS AGE THAT WILL NEVER END.” 2 CORINTHIANS 4: Even though our physical bodies are slowing down and will surely die, we do not lose heart because our spirits are being renewed day by day. The momentary afflictions of this life will end giving way to a glory that is FOREVER and WILL NEVER END. “AMEN” a Hebrew word of affirmation which means, “LET IT BE SO” or “SO LET IT BE”
