When first looking at regular German verbs you have to isolate the root of the word to form the correct ending The root of any German verb is going everything before the –en ending. For example: bachen The root of the word is: bach

When conjugating any verb, it is important to look at the personal pronouns that come before the verb. These personal pronouns will show you what the verb ending to use.
