4 WVWP Parent Positions This year we are adding some parent positions.
Team Parent U18 Boys – Vacant Team Parent U18 Girls – Vacant Team Parent U14 – Vacant Sales Table Manager - Vacant Tournament Entry Coordinator – Vacant Tournament Table Manager – Vacant If a parent is active in one of these positions for an entire season then they will get a $75.00 discount on their player’s dues the following season.

5 Team Parent We would like to find one or two parents for each age group high school boys, high school girls and under 14 teams to help coordinate things as they come up.

10 About WVWP Teams We offer programs for all ages and skills
U18/U16 Boys (high school age boys) U18/U16 Girls (high School age girls) U14 Co-ed boys and girls 8th grade and under U12 Co-ed boys and girls 6th grade and under (new) Masters Men and Women out of high school (new)

11 All fees include a T-shirt and pool costs
About WVWP Fees Fee Structure U18/U16 boys and girls $ plus suit U14/U12 Co-ed $ plus suit Masters $75.00 plus suit All members must have a Silver or higher USA Water Polo Membership. Members should opt into the USWP Leagues (2016 Oregon Spring League) Members must have processed a photo ID with USAWP All fees include a T-shirt and pool costs

15 About WVWP Tournaments (Cont.)
JOQ’s Boys Kroc Center May 13 – 15, 2016 As host we need to run the event all parents and players must work. May 21, 2016 U14 Chehalem tournament June 3 -5, 2016 Webfoot Classic U18 boys and U18 girls June , 2016 Flat Tail Classic Corvallis (Masters) Open teams. June , 2016 Chehalem U18 boy, U18 Girls and U16 boys. Tournament Schedules – will be posted on the Calendar Events for each event, as soon as we get them. We have no control over when we get them or how many times they may change. You must check the web page the day of the tournament for the most up to date schedule. ALL players should be at tournaments 45 minutes before first scheduled game.

16 Parent volunteer requirements
Each family is required to volunteer 10 hours of work to the club. The first five hours must be fulfilled by June 1, 2016. Opportunities are; League Jamboree March 6, 2016 Albany pool Boys JO Qualifier May , 2016 Kroc Center League Championship July 16 – 17, 2016 Albany Pool The second five hours are required at the TruWest Oregon Open Water Tournament. Scott May has sign up sheet of the first two events.

Location: Foster Lake WVWP Teams playing U18/U16 boys and girls all tournament WVWP Teams playing U14/12 will have some game times Accommodations: Teams will be camping at Lewis Creek Park Designated players and parents Sunday – Wednesday All other players and parents Monday – Thursday

19 Oregon Open Water Tournament (Cont.)
Cost $ per player this covers team hard cost T-Shirt, Showers, Food (Breakfasts and Dinner). $ of this is a deposit and is not required if first half of volunteer hours have been met U 14 coming up for the day only. Cost $ per player this covers T-Shirt and game fees. $80.00 of this is a deposit and not required if first half of volunteer hours have been met. Parents at the Open Water. All club parents are expected to work the open water at some point. This is our club’s main source of income for the year and the reason we are able to keep our dues as low as we do. Working for your high school team does not count toward your club hours. Parent camping is at Sunnyside Camp Ground. There is a link to book your camp site on the Open Water page.

Sponsorships requirements Each WVWP family is required to send out five sponsorship packets (one each sponsor letter and sponsor recognition letter) These can be found on the website – look for the 2016 Open Water list of Categories on the right. A list of each letter sent should be ed to

Welcome back to Oregon Elite Polo (OEP) a cooperative agreement between Blue Crush, Madras Lake Oswego and Willamette Valley Water Polo Clubs. This is a unique opportunity for every member of our clubs. OEP gives players of all age groups the opportunity to be part of competitive Junior Olympic teams, while remaining active members of their home club

23 Breaking these rules will get you sent home at your expense!
Rules of WVWP Traveling with WVWP Your coach must know where you are at all times We hang out as a team (this is so important) Always have a buddy Overnight trips All players are the responsibility of the coaches on the trip. No boys in girls rooms or tents and no girls in boys rooms or tents. Breaking these rules will get you sent home at your expense!

Try new things Work hard Work as a team Ask questions Most important is to come to practice, those who attend get the most playing time in tournaments. All players will play if they participate in practices.
