As the year progresses homework will change based on educational needs. The behavior chart is sent home with your child every day and must be signed weekly. This is the most effective way we have of communicating with parents every day. Shawna

13 Attendance It is very important that your child be here every day. Many of the important things we do in third grade are discussed in class, followed by hands-on activities and difficult to replicate. Tardies It is also very important that your child be here on time everyday. Students may enter the building beginning at 7:40 a.m. Students can begin walking to their classrooms at 8:00 a.m. Our tardy bell rings at 8:10 a.m. D-Hall will be given every 3rd tardy. Lindsy

14 Miscellaneous A. Medicine- If your child needs to take medicine at school, please take it to the nurse’s office before school starts. B. Lunch money- Lunches cost $2.60 this year. But, this does not include snacks that are available in the lunch line. If you would like to manage your child’s ability to buy extras, you will need to do so online or contact the cafeteria. Your child must be responsible for his/her own lunch money. However, it is more convenient to place money in their lunch account weekly. ***Parents are allowed to take only their child to the visitor tables when coming for lunch. C. Drop-off Policy- Students are required to walk to class on their own. This is a safety matter for our school. Jennifer D. Birthday treats need to be dropped off with your child in the morning. We will share them as time allows at the end of the day.
