Tide guages Network in the Gulf of Cadiz zone
Map displaying: MWH along the Gulf of Cadiz coasts considering all the tsunamigenic scenarios, existing and 4 additional tide gauge stations (TG1 to TG4 in red dots) recommended for the region.

Tsunameters design for the Gulf of Cadiz region
The study adopts a specific strategy for tsunameter installation based upon three main criteria: (i) maximization of warning time, (ii)coverage of all the area where tsunami can be detected and (iii) the conditions of installation: flat bottom topography and a “safe” distance from the seismic source for station location Established tunameters monitoring network for the Gulf of Cadiz region. White stars are the recommended positions for DART-like sensors in the area. Graphs illustrate waveforms recorded by the proposed DART-like network; only waves detected in the time interval of minutes after the tsunami occurrence are considered.
