2. Proposal For <6GHz existing bands:
Firstly start work on generic aspects, including progress on:
Channel bandwidth concept
Coexistence: LTE/UMTS/GSM/NB-IoT vs NR (depending on bands requested)
RF requirements that will be defined generically
NR band/LTE-NR band combination-specific requirements (e.g. A-MPR, Rx sensitivity, delta TIB/RIB) will be started later
For >6GHz bands, initial work should focus on understanding regulatory status for tentatively agreed initial bands, to understand how much RAN4 effort would actually be needed to specify all of them for each region
Further downscoping of the workplan for >6GHz bands could be considered once the above is known
LTE-NR band combinations:
For >6GHz bands, initial work should be limited to 2CCs (LTE 1CC, NR 1CC)
For <6GHz bands, number of CCs is TBD, but initial work will focus on LTE nCCs + NR 1CC (assuming an NR CC is a single contiguous block)
Companies are requested to provide input on the combinations requested for next RAN4 meeting (preferably including some coexistence analysis)
