12 Excel Christmas Tree filter
An example situation: Want to see information about footswitches that are repairable. Start in NAV and create the list of items in NAV.

13 Send this list to Excel (Actions > Send To > Excel) OR “Ctrl + E” OR “Copy Rows”

14 1. Insert a column next to “No.” column.
2. Copy the first item # into the new column. 3. Enter the magic formula into the 2nd row.

15 Hit enter to see that it combined the first item number with the second and created a NAV filter!
Copy/Paste your formula to the next row…. Watch your filter grow!!!

16 Copy and paste the formula all the way down the list.

17 The NAV filter is in the last cell of the “Filter” column (column B)
The NAV filter is in the last cell of the “Filter” column (column B). Copy and paste this filter anywhere in NAV. NOT JUST FOR ITEMS… This works great with Customer Numbers, Vendor Numbers, Document Numbers, etc.
