2. What Is Abortion
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy before birth, resulting in the death of the fetus (child).
Spontaneous abortions due to injury or disorders is called a miscarriage.
Induced abortions are intentionally brought on when a pregnancy:
Is unwanted for various reasons.
A risk to the mothers health.
The fetus (child) is likely to have serious physical or mental health problems
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy before birth.

3. Marriage Was Instituted by God…..
From the very beginning, following Creation – Matthew 19: 3-4 or Genesis 2: 18: 24.
Designed for those created (Male and Female) – Matthew 19:4.
Whose Union becomes “one Flesh” (produce offspring) – Matthew 19-5)
Marriage is the creation not of “Man”, but of God Himself!!!!!

4. Is Abortion Sinful? “Thou Shall Not Kill” – Exodus 20:13
What The Bible Says…….About the unborn in the womb.
They are formed by God - Psalm 139: 13-14; Isa. 44: Jeremiah 1: 5 – “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
They are called children – “….and the children struggled together within her…” Genesis 25: 21-22; 2 Kings 19:3. The Hebrew word is called “ben” and the same word for son in Genesis 4: 25.
They are called babies – Luke 1: – The Greek word is brephos, the same word for newborns, Luke 2: 12, 16; 18:16.

5. Example about the death of an unborn child
Moses describes a case where a man strikes a pregnant women, causing a premature birth – Exodus 21:22
If there was no harm to the child, the man is only fined – Exodus 21: 22.
If harm ensues, punishment is to be meted proportionally – life for life…..” Exodus 21:
Note: The unborn fetus is just as much a human being as the mother in the passage.
About the death of the innocent
a. An abomination to God – “…..hands that shed innocent blood” – Proverb 6: 17.

6. What Is The Christian Response?
To Defend The Helpless…… Who is more weak than the innocent unborn child. Who is more helpless than unborn babes unable to defend themselves – Acts 20: 35; 1 Thess. 5: 14
As Christians we cannot take the law into our own hands, but we do have a “mighty weapon” (Eph. 6: 10-11). It is our Christian Responsibility to seek to lead others to a proper understanding of what is right versus wrong.
Pray for our leaders that they would respect the “Word” that we may live peaceable, godly lives.
Elect and vote for those who respect God’s Word on Biblical Issues for it promote the general welfare of our country.
Remember that “SIN” is a reproach to any nation. Proverb 14:34.

7. What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Hear The Gospel – Romans 10: 17 “Faith Comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Believe The Gospel – Mark 16: 16 “ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, and he that believeth not shall be damned.” Repent of Sins – Luke 13: 3 “Repent or You will Perish” Confess Christ – Romans 10: 9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteous; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Be Baptized – Acts 2: 38 “Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
