Due to a labor shortage across South Dakota, demand for skilled workers in the construction trades continues to grow.
Nearly 20% of the construction workforce will leave or retire in the next decade. Industry growth is expected at 25% by 2017.
The Solution
Awareness and training that’s mobile and hands-on!
Educating young people about the success they can have in the construction industry.
Introducing Skills Dakota, mobile training trailers that combine tools and training in the areas of carpentry and concrete finishing.
The skills learned through Skills Dakota will help fill the needed construction jobs in SD!
