1. Understory
Here is a fact about the Understory layer of the rainforest: the understory is a very important part of the rainforest because if there was no Understory, there would be no canopy.

2. Animals
There are all sorts of animals in the rainforest. All of the creatures on this page live in the Understory. They range from ocelots to snakes from frogs to birds.

3. Fruits and Plants
In the rainforest, there are many types of plants. One of the most famous ones is the Venus fly trap. This type of plant is carnivorous, therefore it eats insects.
A lot of fruits come from the rainforest, like mango, star fruit and pineapple.
