1 OSIRIS flight calibrations so far
OSIRIS was operated 3 (4) times: March 11-12: 1 long pass (~10 hours) Slot 1 Mostly functional tests Calibration Bias with warm CCD April 25 – May 1: 6 passes (~ 5 hours each) Slot 2 Shutter optimization and calibration June 3-5: 2 passes (~5 hours each) Slot 2b (Aug. 4-5: Test of data access through DDS) No calibrations done

2 Image statistics Slot 1: 41 images Slot 2: 1149 images
22 Bias 6 First test of image acquisition 13 Shutter optimization Slot 2: 1149 images 188 Calibration 961 Shutter optimization Slot 2B: 358 images 44 Calibrations 3 Plain file test 311 Shutter optimization

3 CCD Calibrations Calibration Bias with warm and cold CCD
Covers all configurations except low power mode and dithering Additional subframe bias before stellar calibrations CCD sync tests

4 Internal lamps “Flat fields” with internal lamps with both cameras
1 uncompressed flat field for standard filter combination with main and redundant lamps Compressed (ratio 6) flat fields in “all” other non-UV filters Check of blocking of visible light in UV filters with uncompressed images, 8x8 binning

5 Calibrations with open doors
Stellar intensity calibration pointing at ε Aqr Secondary spectrophotometric standard Also useful for focus, PSF, and spacecraft pointing relative to OSIRIS “Random” star fields compressed (ratio 20) and uncompressed Geometric calibration, PSF, focus, spacecraft pointing Straylight at 90 deg. solar elongation WAC: Neptune in the field of view

6 Calibrations with open doors (2)
Images of comet LINEAR 2002 (T7) Straylight at 45 degrees solar elongation PR

7 Other Calibrations High-speed imaging test
Maximum image repetition rate
