2 Different climate zones on the Earth The arctic zone
Is mostly snow and frost Temperature stay below zero Life is difficult because there is winter most of the year Typical animals: polar bear, polar fox, reindeer Only winter

4 The tropical zone Weather is mostly hot, the air is humid
Changing of drought and rain seasons are typical Typical animals: monkey, parrot, elephant, zebra, lion, tiger The tropics are a region of the Earth surrounding the equator The wet season, rainy season or green season, is the time of year, ranging from one or more months, when most of the average annual rainfall in a region falls Tropical rainforests technically do not have dry or wet seasons, since their rainfall is equally distributed through the year

Temperature varies according to season Changeable weather Spring Beginning: 21st March Weather is changeable, sunny, rainy, Nights get shorter, days get longer During spring, the axis of the Earth is increasing its tilt relative to the Sun, and the length of daylight rapidly increases for the relevant hemisphere The nature wakes up, flowers start growing, grass start turning green

The hottest part of the year (sometimes sudden thunderstorm) Spring and summer are probably the most favorite seasons Alergic – problems

10 Autumn 23rd September Nights are getting and colder again
Leaves turn orange or yellow and they start to fall of the trees The time of harvest Mushrooming Rains comes and everything turns grey Some birds flock together and leave (heading south)

11 Winter December 21st Freezes, snows
Enjoying (ski, snowboard, sledding) Days are shorter and nights are longer Boring weather
