7. Alienation—The feeling of being cut off from oneself and others, and from a sense of the meaning of life

8. Censorship
One of the most prevalent themes in Ray Bradbury's novel Fahrenheit 451 is the idea of censorship. In Bradbury's fictional world, owning books is illegal.
Firemen carry out the governments censorship laws by burning books

9. Knowledge vs. Ignorance--Montag, Faber, and Beatty’s struggle revolves around the tension between knowledge and ignorance. The fireman’s duty is to destroy knowledge and promote ignorance in order to equalize the population and promote sameness.

10. Role of Science and Technology—Bradbury feared a day when technology would cut us off from each other. In his time, TVs were just becoming part of American households. He saw them as promoting ignorance, and separating people from each other.
