2 Fox and the Hound Fox and the Hound was released in theaters July 10th, 1981. The film centers around the story of two unlikely friends, a hound dog and a fox, who struggle to preserve their friendship despite their emerging instincts. At the time of release, it was the most expensive animated film produced, costing $12 million

3 Lion King Lion King was released into theaters June 15th, 1994.
It is the thirty second Disney movie made. The story, which was strongly influenced by the William Shakespeare play Hamlet, takes place in a kingdom of anthropomorphic animals in Africa. The Lion King still holds the record as the highest grossing traditionally animated film in history and belongs to an era known as the Disney Renaissance During its release in 1994, the film grossed more than $783 million worldwide, becoming the most successful film released that year

4 The Little Mermaid The Little Mermaid was released November 17, 1989.
During its initial release, The Little Mermaid grossed over $84 million in the United States and an additional $99 million internationally.

5 Jungle Book Jungle Book was released in theaters October 18, 1967.
It is the 19th animated feature in the Disney animated features. It was inspired by the stories about the feral child Mowgli from the book of the same name by Rudyar Kipling. The movie contains a number of classic songs, including "The Bare Necessities" and "I Wan'na Be Like You". The film grossed over $73 million in the United States

6 Mulan released by Walt Disney Pictures on June 19, 1998.
The thirty-sixth animated feature in the Disney animated features canon, and a part of the Disney Renaissance. the film is based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. It was the first of three produced primarily at the animation studio at Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida.

7 Toy Story is a 1995 American computer-animated family/buddy film
The film was produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It was the first feature film released to use only computer-generated imagery. Toy Story went on to gross over $191 million in the United States and Canada during its initial theatrical release and took in more than $356 million worldwide.
