Pampaedia translation: “History of Education“
Pampaedia has been developed by Johann Amos Comenius. The Pampaedia is the one of the most important and the first pedagogical works of J.A. Comenius ( ). The manuscript was said to be lost, but it was found 1935 in Halle, Germany. It was then published in Heidelberg. The meaning of the work lies in its solutions of educational problems that are up-to-date even today.

Translation: “to teach everything to everyone”
Omnes omnia omnino Translation: “to teach everything to everyone” is the guiding principle of his pedagogy. It explains how every human (children, students, grown-ups from every social class) improves his or her life through life-long learning. The book tells us about Comenius‘ way of education which leads to humanity and world – peace.
5
Omnes everyone – alle Omnes means:
every single one of the human race is important and will be educated. Every person is accepted in the perfection of his being. All people should be taught and formed: always, any time and without caring about the social class they are from (gender, status, job). There is no difference between humans.
6
Omnia Everything – Alles
All students are in the “dark” of not knowing. After Comenius’ education the students are going into the “light” of mind. Omnia means: make humans human to know the truth to love the good side of things to teach everything that a human needs to make his life peaceful to harmonize thinking, speaking and doing to do what you have to do He wanted to make the humans smarter and improve their lives. They learn through religion, politics and philosophy.
7
Omnino All-embracing – All-umfassend
Every human will be educated until he realizes that he is not able to know everything. He must realize that only God is all-knowing (all-embracing). The human himself can only achieve the title “Educated By God“ (Theodidactikos). Everybody has to accept that he is just a small part of the universe.
